Panel: Assessing Health Seeking Behaviors in Light of Federal Update
Addressing health seeking behaviors has long been a focus of improvement efforts to ensure individuals receive the right care, at the right time, in the right place. Recent federal policy changes have the potential to effect the health care landscape in the District, impacting access to care for uninsured populations and funding for prevention. This panel will examine health seeking behaviors and how recent policy shifts influence care quality and patient outcomes, identifying opportunities and challenges in ensuring comprehensive care for all. The panelists will share insights on barriers to care, emerging solutions, and strategies to promote effective health-seeking behaviors of patients in the District in response to evolving federal priorities.
