Health Care & Innovation Summit, October 21

Save the date, October 21, for DCHA’s Health Care & Innovation Summit, our favorite, annual convening of health care professionals sharing best practices and successful approaches to improving patient safety. The summit will feature specialized and curated sessions on strategic issues and quality health care breakthroughs through diverse topics and shared ideas. Our experts represent a variety of backgrounds and perspectives based on hands-on experience and the latest research. Breakout sessions will feature submissions from the Abstract & Poster Competition and the summit will recognize the recipients of the Health Care & Innovation Awards.

  • Anyone parking should enter the underground garage and drive to the second set of elevators for the Yuma Building which are located at the end of either P1 or P2 level (from Nebraska Ave.). Take the bank of elevators up to the Terrace Level, make an immediate left and Claudio Grossman Hall is in front of you.
  • The closest Metro station is the Tenleytown-AU stop on the Red line. From the station, you can take the American University shuttle that is located on the corner of 40th St. NW and Ablemarle St. Should you prefer to walk the two blocks from the Metro – proceed south on Wisconsin until you reach Nebraska Ave. You will then see Washington College of Law in front of you. The main entrance is off of Nebraska Ave.
  • Anyone using ride share needs to be dropped off at the Yuma St. NW entrance. Please note this entrance will only be unlocked in the morning for attendees to arrive. Should you arrive via ride share later in the day, please proceed to the main entrance on Nebraska Ave.
