The District of Columbia Hospital Association works to advance hospitals and health systems in the District by promoting policies and initiatives that strengthens our system of care.

Initiatives & Priorities

Whether related to workforce, public health, health care delivery or reimbursement, the District of Columbia Hospital Association advances policies and initiatives that advance hospitals and health in the city. The initiatives and priorities DCHA champions are reviewed by our Government Relations & Financial Policy Committee and approved as needed by the DCHA Board of Directors. Each year the Association will adopt its Annual Advocacy and Policy Agenda to provide the District’s elected and policy leaders with an outline of the issues vital to our missions of improving the health of our community.
